So - we meditate, we read spiritual books and channeled newsletters, we consult the I-Ching, the Tarot and our favorite 900 line phone psychic, and we attend lectures and workshops.
But wait - what if I told you that you could have answers to most of your questions... anywhere... instantly... free of charge? And furthermore... what if you could speak directly to an Angel? (They are certainly interested in speaking to you!)
How about holding a conversation with your own High Self and with your Guides? Have you always been curious about Elementals, Devas and Fairies? What about Extraterrestrials and Extradimensionals? Would you like to know what your plants are feeling and whether your cat has something to tell you about her health? Are you interested in how many past lives you've had with your lover (on Earth and before the Earth) and what those relationships were? All of these possibilities and much, much more, may be realized by almost anyone by learning the techniques of Pendulum Dowsing.
Why do I think Pendulums are so great? Because after 30 years of intensive spiritual work, learning, seeking, and teaching I've concluded that this simple, inexpensive, portable toy-tool is one of the best ways for ordinary people to begin accessing their own Inner Knowing, and awaken their Intuitive Abilities.
A. Some positive characteristics of Pendulum use:
Almost everyone can learn within a few minutes. It requires NO NEW BELIEF SYSTEM - just try it - either it works for you or it doesn't - it's that simple. You can make your own from a pendant, or a ring or even a washer or nut on a string. Finding that you can get your own answers from within yourself can become a positive habit even as you begin to open up your intuitive abilities. As with any skill: perfect practice makes perfect. Pendulum Dowsing is an open-ended skill. You begin with the Physical World and, if you wish, you can move on to getting information from crystals, plants, animals, Devas, your own body parts, Inner Child, inner Male & Female, High Self, Guides, Angels, etc., etc.... the list is endless.
Some suggestions about Pendulum use (very similar to Channeling):
If you get no movement or your answers seem "funny" then check your relationship with your Inner Self. It is she or he that motivates the Pendulum through the Involuntary Muscle System of the body. Without the inner self's cooperation you'll either get nothing or a false direction.
Write down your questions and make your Intentions clear before you dowse (Especially in the beginning).
Say a clearing prayer or invocation before dowsing (All of this will go very quickly once you're used to it).
At the beginning, avoid Emotional questions (let a friend ask for you) and questions about the Future.
Avoid the expression "Should I...". Use instead: "Is it in my Highest Interest (or Best Good) to...".
Always know who you're talking to. Either ask who it is or, preferably, ask for a certain Part or Being in the Beginning: "Is this High Self? Are you telling the Truth? Is there anything in the way of 100% Truth?" Remember that when you open some of these doorways to other realms, times, or dimensions it is always a 2-way street! Protect yourself ahead of time from anything that may enter your body or field. If you don't know how then wait until you do!
Your INTEGRITY must be impeccable and of the highest order! This is a powerful tool and as such is easily misdirected and misused. You can easily go places and get information that is either harmful to you or to which you have no right. Always ask before divulging any information to others, even (and especially) those it may concern. If you decide to cheat on this, "just a little", be prepared for a very swift and unpleasant Karmic Kick in the rear end.
My purpose here is not to teach you Dowsing; that takes a little more time and space. I do wish, however, to awaken in you the desire to learn more and to find out to your own satisfaction that you can obtain most of the information you need for your life and growth from within yourself.
